Challenger #104, Missouri

Stefany- TO.BE.THODE.- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Setup...

I had to convince the kids that the bottles that had been sitting in a truck all day was just a bit too warm to try at the moment. After what seemed like an eternity (really wasn't, but kids asking every 5 minutes if they can have some really can drag time), I opened the first bottle up and gave some to each kid.

The Results...

They all sat and drank it like it was the best thing ever. I have to say here, because it is my favorite thing right now, Johnny, my 3 year old, sounds so adorable saying WAT-AAH! It makes me want to buy more for that simple reason. But, there is so much more... When you add things that help their brains and bones, that is a winner to me! How great would it be for your kids to reach for a bottle of WAT-AAH! after school before a can of soda or a glass of sugary juice? WAT-AAH! is so appealing to kids that they will do just that!"

Challenger #103, Pennsylvania

Karrie- Mommatudes- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family.

The Setup....

When I got the 4 bottles of WAT-AAH! in the mail, the kiddos would not leave the package alone. They were attracted to the packaging. So I chilled the WAT-AAH! and let the kiddos choose which bottle each wanted.

The Results...

DD chose the pink one (because "Pink is for princesses." And yes, she is wearing a princess dress for the photo.) DS drank the orange bottle - 'Bones' formula. I chose the green bottle, 'Energy' formula, and Hubby drank the blue bottle - 'Brain' formula!

We all enjoyed the water - EVEN the kiddos! And because my DS associates it with 'kid' packaging, he is requesting it for his school lunches. EVEN BETTER! No sugary drinks!!!! And honestly, as a mom and former clinician, I am whole-heartedly behind their campaign, Stop Sugar! There's no time like the present to get kids involved in a healthy lifestyle and to help them do their best in school!"

Challenger #102, Texas

Crystal-Simply Being Mommy- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids. "If your children are anything like mine, they will take soda, a juice box or milk over water anyday! I thought that it was worth a shot!"

The Results...

"My oldest son Rylan who is 3 was the first one to the refrigerator.  As soon as he saw the WAT-AAH! bottles he was very curious and asked what it was.  I told him it was WAT-AAH! and he immediately (much to my surprise) asked if he could have one.  I let him pick which one he wanted and being all boy, he chose the blue which was WAT-AAH! Brain.

After Rylan tried it and kept drinking it, I thought I’d give it a shot to see what it tasted like. I figured it had to have some kind of flavoring or something because normally he won’t drink just water. I was very surprised to find out that in fact it did taste just like water.

The children have been requesting WAT-AAH! over their normal juice boxes. They were outside playing hard the other day and both of them each had their own bottle of WAT-AAH!

I’d say The WAT-AAH! Challenge was a success!  I am happy to see my children requesting something that is very good for them!"

Challenger #101, Michigan

Elizabeth- A Nut in a Nutshell- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids, knowing the importance of keeping them hydrated. "Kids are especially active now that school is starting, and they need to stay hydrated to focus on schoolwork, and to participate in sports and other after school activities."

The Setup...

"I put four bottles of WAT-AAH! in the fridge along with the milk, orange juice, lemonade and pop."

The Results...

"I saw my son head to the fridge, he said, "What the heck?", grabbed a bottle of WAT-AAH! and took off. He drank three of them that same day, which prompted me to run for the last one so I could try it myself!

If you're having trouble getting your kids to drink water and want to make sure they stay hydrated... I don't think they could really resist this. WAT-AAH! takes the boring out of water. I'll bet your kids will think so too!!"

Challenger #100, Louisiana

Nicole- Bless Their Hearts Mom- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge to the water park to try out with her kids.

The Setup...

"We froze our bottles overnight so they would stay nice and cool during the day out. When you have a very active 2 year old and a 78% humidity day, water and electrolytes just seem to go together.

As you can see, we had no problems getting her to drink the water- she LOVED it!"

The Results...
"She obviously could tell it helped her as every time she's start to get overheated, she'd come sit down on our blanket and chug some of the WAT-AAH!

My daughter had fun handing out the WAT-AAH! fake tattoos and decals to some of the kids at the park- the kids liked the cool decal, and their parents were interested in hearing about water that is GOOD for your kids!"

Challenger #99, South Dakota

Tammy- Three Different Directions- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Results...

She LOVED the bottles and the message on them. She chose the "Energy" and "Brains" to try (which she drank just before her biology test lol!)

When I tasted WAT-AAH! for the first time, in comparison with the filtered water we have from our fridge dispenser, I thought it tasted a lot better.

So while my kid is saying "Oooooh these bottles are so cool! I love reading what they say on them"; I'm saying "WAT-AAH! is ultra pure water containing the right amount of essential ingredients such as magnesium, electrolytes and oxygen to help maintain children's health."

Challenger #98, Colorado

Deborah-BabasFarmLife- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family.

The Results...

My family and I got a chance to try out the WAT-AAH! beverages for ourselves and really liked them! The kids thought the bottles looked so cool that they wanted to try them right away!
Grandson Zach tried the Body WAT-AAH! because playing football his body needs to keep fit.

Grand-daughter Kirsten tried the Bones WAT-AAH! because as a cheerleader it will help her keep her bones strong.

Hubby tried the Energy WAT-AAH! because at his age he needs all the energy he can get.

Daughter tried the Brain WAT-AAH! because as a Mom of 4 who is expecting her 5th child and who works out of her home she needs her brain functioning at full force 24-7.

I'm a coffee drinker and getting me to drink water.... well let's just say the water has to taste good. And WAT-AAH! does! This water I would drink!

Challenger #97, Ohio

Lacie- Peanut Butter & Pickle- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her too little ones.

The Results...

"MILKIE MILKIE MILKIE," is what I hear constantly in my house. My children are seriously addicted to milk... At a point, I just cut them off and tell them that their only choice is water. They like water, but they don't LOVE water. So, how do you get your kiddos interested? Make it fun (and healthy) of course!

I mean, who couldn't resist these brightly colored water bottles with a screaming kid on the front? As you can see in the picture above that they actually fought over their WAT-AAH!"

Challenger #96, Montana

Ashley- Always & Forever... A mom, wife, daughter and friend- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family just in time for Back-to-School. She knows the importance of staying hydrated and how difficult it can be sometimes. "One of the most important things that we tend to forget about when our kids go back to school (and us grownups who are going back to school too!) is staying hydrated... With our busy lives and after school sports and activities we can forget to drink enough water."

The Results...

"The challenge encourages you to get the sugary drinks out of your house.... The water tastes so fresh -especially right out of the fridge- and tastes much cleaner than the generic bottled kind that we have been buying at the store. So... get rid of all the sugary drinks and stay hydrated! Don't forget your kids who will have more energy and and be more alert for school!"

Challenger #95, New York

Edna- Our Life Upstate- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family.

The Results...

Big Brother puts it simply: "It's water." Is there a catch? No. Is there a gimmick? No." So, what is it again, Big Brother? "It's water."

...like Big Brother says, "It's water." But, he does go on to explain, "I like hockey and I like WAT-AAH!"

Challenger #94, Pennsylvania

Tania- Twenty Something Momma- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family.

The Setup...

"We placed our four sample bottles in the fridge and, instead of reaching for whatever sugary drinks we would normally choose throughout the day, decided to test out the WAT-AAH! V, our active, high-energy little boy, got first pick!"

The Result...

His WAT-AAH! of choice was the Bones variety (possibly because the bright orange label called to him - he's pretty big on loud colors)... For the rest of the day, V carried around his 16-ounce bottle and drank from it whenever he got thirsty, which meant that I didn't have to worry about whether or not he was getting enough hydration while playing.

The adults in the house weren't to be left behind, of course - I decided to try out the WAT-AAH! Energy in place of my usual Cranergy juice drink to give me a little pep in the middle of the afternoon. Surprisingly, it gave me a similar boost of energy, without the sugary aftertaste.

Later that evening, I caught my husband hanging out in the kitchen after dinner, enjoying a bottle of WAT-AAH! Brain. When I asked him what he thought of it, he told me it tasted "really, really clean - nothing but water and minerals" He also asked if he could take the last bottle in to work the next day, proving that no one is too old to appreciate the crisp, refreshing taste of WAT-AAH! Mission accomplished!

Challenger #93, Ontario

Kimberly- Candid, Clever & Cost-Effective- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge, hoping to become one step closer to having healthy kids. "Look what we are subjecting our children to! So I'm thinking it can't be all done at once but if we were to take baby steps like - replacing a couple drinks a day with a healthy alternative like WAT-AAH! and then just take it step by step it wouldn't be long before our kids were on the track to eating and drinking healthy by choice!"

The Setup...

"I put all four bottles in the fridge and waited for my little guy to head there for a drink. He checked out everything available which I'm not proud to say included some bottles of cola, some juice drinks (not even all real juice), some Iced Tea, milk, chocolate milk, yogurt drinks and the bottles of WAT-AAH!"

The Results...

He opened the door - browsed his options and then came out carrying a bottle of WAT-AAH! "I want this one Nana. Can you help me open it".

He kept looking at the bottle - there's a cool graphic that you can see inside the bottle if you look at it from the reverse side - he was quite captivated by it! He drank about half of the bottle got full and put it back in the fridge.

For the rest of the day, every time he returned to the fridge he grabbed himself some WAT-AAH! - so it's that easy! Even given a multitude of options he chose the WAT-AAH! Apparently drinking WAT-AAH is much more fun than drinking the other stuff!"

Challenger #92, Georgia

Megan- Just For Me and You- Decided to take The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her boys! She finds it hard to say no to their sugary demands!

"My son had been trying to get at it all since it arrived. He was so excited when I finally let him get his hands on it."

The Results...

You would honestly think these boys were drinking up soda. I took a drink to test it because I thought for sure this must be sweetened by how excited they were!

Both boys were also very excited to have their new tattoos. My son kept pulling up his shorts and pointing to the bright picture on his leg!"

Challenger #91, Texas

Stacey- Tree, Root and Twig- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her three daughters and two boys.

The Setup...

I think I had the package in my possession for all of 3 minutes before my kids were asking, “What the heck is that?!”  They wanted to hold the bottles, read the labels, check it all out.  So much for keeping things on the down-low.

I brushed it all off with some mumbling about “nothingnevermindgobacktoplaying” and put the WAT-AAH! in the fridge.  The next day, the kids were all over me by breakfast time.

The Results...

Kids:  ”So can we have some of that stuff?”

Me:  "What’s the big deal?!”

Kids:  "I don’t know, it just looks really cool.”  (My son then begins a series of “WAT-AAH!” chants, which sound surprisingly funny, not annoying like I had expected.)

Me:  "What do you think it’s going to taste like?”  (I thought I had them trapped here, because the labels do have different colors, and I guessed that they thought the colors associated with flavors.)

Kids:  "It’s probably just water.”

Me:  "And you still want it?”

Kids:  "Yeah, it just looks cool!”

They continued to tell me that they thought the name was funny, the picture was funny, the wording on the label was funny (I agree – the labels are witty!), and the bottle was SO COOL.  Oh, brother, how many times have I heard about the bottle?!  (I can’t tell you, because I lost count.)

Sure enough, they opened up the bottles, drank the cool, crisp water, and were happy little campers.  My 12yo daughter even took the bottle to church the following Sunday to show her friend, who chattered with her about it right before the service!"

Challenger #90, Utah

Tiffany- Babies and Kids- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her two "REALLY active" boys.

The Results...

"Upon seeing the bottle, Chan was immediately intrigued. We are at the what, where, when, why stage, so he immediately asked,“What’s this?”

I told him it was Wat-aaahhhhh!! in my best voice. He thought it was funny and immediately wanted me to open it so he could drink it.

Then he looked at me and said, “Tastes GOOD!”

He’s been running around talking about WAT-AAH! and is more than excited to drink it. He’s even been sporting WAT-AAH! tattoos on his chest!"

Lisa- Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her two boys.

The Set Up...

"Without telling your family what WAT-AAH! is put them in the fridge next to all their normal juices, sodas, and other beverages..."

The Results...

"Honestly, it wasn't 30 minutes that I put the water in our fridge before my two sons and husband grabbed them to drink. They wanted more! Unfortunately, there was no more because I had four bottles and once they grabbed the first three, I took the last one!"

Challenger #88, Texas

Lenore- Crazed Mind- Was up for The WAT-AAH! Challenge for herself and her family too. "I need to drink more water. It is important to my diet to do this. It is even more important to my body that I keep drinking water. Well it is a habit I am not use to."

The Results...

"College Girl got excited... She loved that it tasted like water, not minerals or muddy. (We have lake water for our city supply--yuck!) Dear Hubby tried the energy WAT-AAH! instead of a energy shot and he said it worked great. Remember he works two jobs every day. Most I heard that they felt refreshed and replenished. That is what we all need!"

Challenger #86, Montana

Heidi- Scared and Profane- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her 4 kids. "No sooner did I have the box open than I was pounced on by a group of kids dying of thirst in the desert. We read the inserts and the kids all tasted the goods."

The Results...

"They proclaimed it good!!!

When I told them the story of WAT-AAH!, they wanted to proclaim the goodness to more people. They got their crazy on, grabbed the stickers, bottles and tattoos and we headed off to the mall to hand them out!"

They were even inspired to create their own commercial!

Challenger #85, Utah

Kendahl- Not Your Everyday Mommy- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her daughter Punkaroo, or Punk for short.

The Results...

"I'm pretty lucky in the fact that Punk actually will drink water most of the time, and this is no exception! She opened the fridge, and said, "What's this with the pink words?" I told her it was water, and that's what she chose. Of course, going for the pink one first!... Throughout the weekend she tried them all, and said pink was her favorite. Funny how kids are so influenced by colors!...

Your kids will think you're the coolest for bringing home such a fun-looking drink!"

Challenger #84, New Jersey

Brandi- Life with 5 monkies and 1 ape- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her "5 little Monkies".

The Set Up...

"When UPS dropped the box off with our samples, the water didn't even make it into the fridge before the kids wanted to try it out. The bright logos with catchy phrases had them lured in from the get go!"

The Results...

"I let them try it, put it in the freezer so it would get good and cold good and quick. The kids downed the bottles of water without asking for anything sugary to drink!

I will say though, that I knew the kids would drink the water. They love bottled water. They just will not drink tap water. I guess it is something about the fact that it is in a bottle like a soda. Who knows. But with WAT-AAH! the added visual value of the neat logo, and the cute names for each one was an added bonus for them!"

Challenger #83, Canada

Tara- Tara's View of The World- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her 3 kids. "All three of my kids loved the bottles and as soon as I opened the box they wanted to try one!"

The Results...

"My boys loved the bottles enough that they wanted to keep them after they were through and use them with their water guns. I love the fact that WAT-AAH! is actually pure water and therefore perfectly healthy. If the clever design makes it more appealing to kids than I am all for it!"

Challenger #82, Kentucky

Stacey- All Because Two People Fell In Love- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her too little ones Ethan and Ella.

The Results...

Ella was immediately drawn to the pink packaging and Ethan went straight for the energy water! He took the energy water to his basketball game with him and scored a season high! He is convinced it was the WAT-AAH! and said we would HAVE to buy more!!

Ethan is good about drinking water but Ella not so much! So, we were excited to find some WAT-AAH! that she would actually drink! We highly recommend this fun, refreshing, and good for you WAT-AAH!!"

Challenger #81, Kentucky

Lauren- Shooting Star Mag- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge at her house and also gave some of the bottles to a few kids she knew.

The Results...

They LOVED these. Instead of putting them away in the refrigerator right after they got them, they carried it around while they played and went around screaming "WAT-AAH!" as it is quite a fun word to say... This definitely amused them as they "fought" over who had the better bottle. I'd say it was a hit!... And mom LOVED the shape of the bottles. Other water bottles have ridges and this one was smooth all around so it fits MUCH better in your hands...I do agree, so that's definitely a plus! Again, it's a hit!"

Challenger #79, California

Robyn- Who's The Boss?- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family to help kick-start her own summer health challenge.

"Darius is a juice junkie.  Whenever you ask him what he wants to drink, he'll always respond with juice.  Or lemonade.  Or juice-box...That's when I decided to put the family on a juice diet for the month of July.At home, our options at meal times would only be water or milk. "

The Results...

"I am glad that I took the Summer WAT-AAH! Challenge.  I am glad that we reduced our juice consumption.  I'm glad that Darius is drinking more water and milk.  And I'll continue to find a way to make sure that there is balance in our diet."

Christy- Is It Nap Time Yet?- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids and was pleasantly surprised that her children chose WAT-AAH! over their usual favorites! "They don’t typically drink water without adding some sort of flavor packet to it, but they didn’t even ask to add anything to their WAT-AAH!"

The Results...

"I admit, I was a bit confused. I mean, it’s just water, but something about it makes it fun and “delicious” as Cassie put it, and to my surprise, they got them out of the fridge instead of the Kool-Aid. Shelby even took a bottle of WAT-AAH! with her to band camp instead of Powerade, which is usually a favorite! I’m amazed!"

Challenger #75, Ohio

Tammy- Love My 2 Dogs- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her daycare kids. "It is to challenge children to drink more water instead of the sugary sodas and juices. So I figured that since I do daycare care in my home this would be a great challenge."

The Set Up...

"When my bottles of WAT-AAH! arrived I immediately put them in the fridge to get cold for a day or so. Then I told the kiddos we were going to have a taste test. I poured a bit from each of the different colored labels (all the water is the same) into small glasses, lined them up and the tasting began."

The Results...

"It was really funny but each of the four kiddos chose a different glass that they thought tasted better. So I gave each one of them a sticker that matched the color of label that they chose. After about an hour it was snack time and I asked the kiddos what they wanted to drink with the snack and they asked if they could have some more of that good water. I tried not to laugh but of course I said yes and gave each of them their own bottle. Boy were they happy!"

Challenger #74, Maryland

Holly- I Like It Frantic- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her son Charlie, who loves his juice boxes!

The Results...

"After getting two cases of WAT-AAH!, it was gone in two days. My kids just seemed to thirst for it, and even created a video in praise of their new beverage of choice. It's nice to know that we have more healthy choices for our children's lunch, soccer practice and on-the-go activities. So the next time your kids ask "Mom, what's to drink", let them drink WAT-AAH!"

Watch the WAT-AAH! commercials her kids created!

Challenger #72, Delaware

Mel- A Box of Chocolates- As a mom, is always trying to get her kids to drink their water. While her son drinks nothing but, her daughter steers clear of the clear stuff. So she decided to take The WAT-AAH! Challenge!

Her son could not WAIT to open the package and try the WAT-AAH! and even her daughter was interested as well!

The Results...

"I was very happy to see that Zoe was interested in the packaging and instantly claimed the pink (Body) one for herself. When her big brother told her how each one was made for a specific part of the body she would then tell me, "I need some energy so I'm going to drink this one now" or "my brain is tired so I need to drink that [brain] one." What can I say? She is an advertisers dream! This time I'm not complaining though cause the girl is finally drinking her water."
